Greetings from Jon and Nancy Van Nurden here at Big Timber Resort. Along with our sons Joe and Jack, we have owned and operated Big Timber Resort since 1984. Big Timber is a fun place to spend a safe and relaxing family vacation. Our Northwoods style family resort is in a beautiful lakeside setting on the East shore of North Star Lake in the Chippewa National Forest. We are 25 miles north of Grand Rapids Minnesota, and 3 miles south of Marcell Minnesota. Big Timber has seven very nice cabins, a GREAT sandy beach with excellent swimming, a fantastic playground, game room, beautiful sunsets, evening campfires, great fishing, Loons, Eagles, and much, much more! |
